Professional / Service Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Manager of Youth & Family Development in CREC Resource Group coordinate and provide professional and training 21st Learning Center Community After School Programs and Extended Learning Programs statewide.
Job Summary :
Serves as Quality Advisor for after school programs and provide technical assistance through phone / mail support in addiction to visiting each program to two times per year.
Works collaboratively with State partners and school districts to develop and implement strategies to improve after school programs state wide.
Provides professional development and training as needed.
Assists with the organization of state wide networking meetings.
Develops agendas and facilitates small group meetings.
Submits all reports accurately and by required deadlines.
Must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
Must be willing to drive to programs located throughout the statewide.
Qualifications : BS / BA or in Education
BS / BA or in Education
have strong oral and written communications skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships; ability to prepare comprehensive reports and to deliver information effectively in presentations.
Must have understanding of teaching and learning in classrooms K-12 and knowledge of State initiatives and priorities in education, grant writing, and budgeting.
Must be self-starter and possess the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative environment. Must have multicultural awareness and ability to work effectively with volunteers, school staff, school administration and State officials.
