Perform search of peer-previewed publications and summarize results.
Using a search strategy jointly developed by the TOM and the contractor, search existing peer-reviewed literature on climate change and wildlife health from the period 2010 to the present.
Jointly with the TOM read and summarize selected publications and enter key search terms into database intended for public view.
Plan, outline and write synthesis manuscript on climate change and wildlife health.Jointly with TOM the contractor shall prepare outline and supporting data for a manuscript that synthesizes current knowledge and potential mitigation strategies on the effect of climate change and wildlife health.
The contractor shall write manuscript intended for a peer-reviewed journal publication together with TOM.
Assist in planning National DOI workshop on climate change and wildlife health.Assist TOM with organization, materials, and summary documents for National DOI workshop to be held in 2019.
Contractor shall attend phone meetings with workshop steering committee, and assist in planning workshop topics, scheduling, and in preparation of a summary of the workshop.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications :
Experience Planning, Outlining and writing synthesis manuscripts on climate change and wildlife health.
Experience with various laboratory or field research projects in the area of climate change and wildlife health.
Experience Executing experiments and research in the area of climate change and wildlife health.
Experience finalizing research findings and developing reports that summarize and communicates results effectively.
Familiarity with Planning workshops on climate change and wildlife health.
Familiarity with the USGS climate change on wildlife health in North America and potential mitigation strategies.
1-3 years of experience in climate change and wildlife health.
Requires a Ph.D in area of specialty, climate change and wildlife health.
