The primary duties of the Senior Construction Inspector position require familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes .
These duties include conducting and documenting observations of construction as it progresses. Additional duties may include conducting or coordinating concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-
place soil compaction testing. The Construction Inspector monitors records and inspects progress on construction projects while maintaining daily records.
They may have involvement in client development and project pursuit and receive supervision from Project Managers. The ideal candidate will typically possess three years of progressive experience as a Construction Inspector on a multidisciplinary project and will have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
