The primary purpose of the Account Manager (AM) Beer Business is tomaintain and establish growth of the current customer base and new businessopportunities / revenue through the sale and placement of Invisible Sentinel’sequipment, diagnostic test kits, custom diagnostic solutions, and associatedsupplies leading to increased revenues for the company.
The AM is directly responsible for achievingthe territory sales goals.
Main Accountabilities :
The AM interacts with all new and existingcustomers in their territory. The Account Manager also interacts andcollaborates with the Head of Sales, Marketing Team and other essentialcolleagues, as needed or as determined by leadership.
The AM is responsible for the territory revenuetargets and growth objectives as set forth per calendar quarter. The AM is expected to foster leadership and teamwork in order to maximizeterritory potential.
The AM is expected to operate within traveland operational expenses guidelines.
To achieve at least 100% of the territory salesgoals.
To drive new business revenue through sellingnew instruments and reagents.
To maintain, and grow, existing customer’sbusiness.
To responsibly manage the total territory salesbase with integrity and honesty.
To clearly demonstrates knowledge of InvisibleSentinel’s technology and competitive technologies. Knowledge is demonstratedthrough effective presentations and customer training sessions.
To work with Marketing Team to keep managementup-to-date on market conditions and competitive situations; provide strategicinput into key marketing programs.
To coordinate and conduct customer training onInvisible Sentinel products.
To submit biweekly expense reports and otherreports as assigned by leadership.
To develop and maintain relationships with keyinfluencers on business in assigned market segment.
To participates in trade shows to build businessand obtain sales leads.
To participate in company and team meetings.
To update the database resource tool daily.
To effectively build a sales pipeline throughcold calling, prospecting, qualifying and covering accounts.
To accurately forecast and close new businesswithin the 30-60-90 day time period.
To strategize and work with the team (includingthe Director of Brewery Sales , Head of Sales, and Marketing) to deliverrevenue targets and growth objectives within the territory.
To be receptive to coaching and mentoringfeedback in order to maintain flexibility and adaptability for learning andgrowth, while meeting customers’ needs.
4 year degree in science / business related field.
Diagnostic or science background preferred.Proven track record in B2B sales to breweries preferred. Candidates with ageneral life science degree with diagnostic sales experience will beconsidered.
Minimum of 3- 5 years sales experience. Hands onlab experience and the ability to speak with customers in technical termspreferred.
Must be results oriented, and self-motivated.
Excellent computer, communication,interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
Ability to develop a solid knowledge ofInvisible Sentinel product ranges and Sales strategy and the understanding ofthe beer market and competition environment.
Sales results orientation andability to learn and integrate the selling process and implement the salestools. Intermediate computer literacy.
Very good interpersonal, communication, salesand presentation skills along with successful demonstration of behavioralcompetencies, such as teamwork, leadership, adaptability, customer serviceorientation, influence, analytical thinking, organizational awareness andrelationship building coupled with good product knowledge to succeed in theirsales territory.
Thorough knowledge of basic sales skills andhave good business acumen. Good computerskills and conscientious recordkeeping are mandatory.
Account Managers are responsible for workingvery efficiently and effectively within the assigned territory to increaserevenue while being self-motivated.
Prior knowledge of the respective InvisibleSentinel Market Segments, Microbiology, Competitive knowledge, Product line andgeographic territory are preferred.
