Committee for Children is growing, and we're looking for an experienced education partnerships manager to join our team! In this role, the Education Partnerships Manager (EPM) will focus on engaging with district leaders and decision makers to support district priorities and initiatives around social-

emotional learning. They will assume primary responsibility for proactive client acquisition and relationships with strategic districts, management of key accounts, and development of assigned territory or market segments.

They will achieve sales objectives by maintaining existing client base, providing consultation and implementation strategy for new and existing programs, and creating new opportunities for growth with current and potential customers.

The EPM will create and execute territory development strategies in collaboration with the Education Account Manager (EAM) and sustain a record of high sales achievement.

They will identify key decision-makers and stakeholders, develop multi-level relationships, and establish credibility as a knowledgeable industry resource within key accounts and target districts.

  • They will prepare and complete strategic territory business plans; resolve client issues; identify sales and market trends;
  • accurately forecast sales; determine sales system and process improvements; and promote the fidelity and efficacy of CFC's programs and services.

    Primary Responsibilities Include

    Territory Sales, Development, and Management

  • Responsible for sales growth in assigned territory including market penetration and opportunity development to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives for both individual and territory goals
  • Utilizes market knowledge and data to develop and execute strategic territory plans appropriate to the PreK-12 education market to accelerate customer adoption, extend reach, and achieve territory sales goals
  • Focuses on pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, account planning, relationship building, and understanding customer needs
  • Provides expertise and planning around territory development, focusing on key account acquisition and retention
  • Maintains knowledge around CFC products, the educational industry, social-emotional learning, and factors influencing the market environment
  • Attends and participates in national and regional conferences and events to build strategic alliances, promote client / prospect awareness, develop presentations with strategic partners and clients, and enhance the awareness of CFC's programs and services
  • Account Management (Key / Tier 1 Accounts)

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with Education Account Manager, Education Partnerships Regional Manager, and Client Success group pertaining to overall client support and the needs of the territory
  • Creates and implements strategic large and key account strategies to establish a strong client base and create new opportunities to capture business
  • Supports the sales of programs, products and services, including hybrid, single purchase, and licensed / subscription offerings to new and existing customers in an assigned territory utilizing proven sales techniques
  • Identifies and qualifies new opportunities to increase market share by providing consultation, presentations, trainings and webinars to schools, districts, and agencies regarding effective practices with CFC programs and services
  • Provides follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction with programs, products and / or services provided and assist clients and staff in resolving problems and concerns
  • Provides accurate and timely reports and maintains sales opportunity pipeline and records within the CRM to accurately forecast sales projections
  • Handles all business travel and presentation logistics and paperwork
  • Client and Internal Consultation

  • Manages ongoing training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; conducts performance evaluations and manages performance of regional team members
  • Maintains effective budget tracking of regional department expenses
  • Provides guidance and experience in leading and motivating teams through times of transition and growth
  • Ensures cross-departmental collaboration with client success, implementation, client support, marketing, and product teams in planning, developing, and supporting new programs, resources, and support for our clients
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in education, business, social science, or related field
  • Four years' experience in consultative sales (educational sales preferred)
  • Three years' experience in the education field or selling to the PreK 12 educational market
  • Demonstrated success as a top performer, meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, database, and internet applications plus proficiency working in a CRM (such as NetSuite or SalesForce)
  • Must be able to commute to Seattle office
  • 30% Travel
