Our direct client is looking for Event and Office coordinator at Stanford, CA 94305.
Coordinate logistics for weekly University Public Worship in historic Stanford Memorial Church (preparing service bulletin, coordinating volunteer readers and ushers etc.)
Provide general administrative assistance for the department; handle phone calls, walk-ins, emails, and other correspondence and inquiries.
Process purchase requisitions and invoices; track event expenses.
Plan and support the ORL's events, including ongoing events in our three venues, Stanford Memorial Church, the CIRCLE (Center for Inter-
Religious Community, Learning and Experiences) and Windhover Contemplative Center.
Support key collaborative programs between the ORL and other departments on campus.
Market ORL events through our weekly newsletter paid advertising and social media; and updating the ORL website.
Coordinate event venue scheduling and set-up, including equipment and catering requirements. Provide on-site support, such as check-
ins, directions, equipment set-up, and event parking.
Associate degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

Ability to manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, taking initiative, judgment, and decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills. Must be well organized and detailed oriented.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other online documents, such as Google Docs.
Ability to interact with a broad spectrum of customers.
Additional skills desired :
Demonstrated experience using graphic design applications (i.e. Adobe suite : Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience using Stanford administrative systems (e.g. Oracle Financials)
