GP Strategies is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Lincoln, Nebraska. In support of one of GP Strategies’ major service areas, the Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in the research and generating new business development opportunities.

Responsibilities :

Effectively articulate the value of our leadership and employee engagement expertise and, using tools and information that will be provided, advise / assist prospective customers.

Conduct research to map target client organization, to identify key stakeholders and buyers in the leadership and employee engagement space.

Manage and execute outbound sales prospecting efforts to potential customers.

Maintain all aspects of outbound sales prospecting activities in GP Strategies’ CRM system, including but not limited to :

Customer contact information

Pertinent phone calls, emails, and customer touch point notes

Updating active clients in the CRM system

Follow up with GP Strategies Business Development teams to capture summary of meeting notes and next actions

Meet or exceed stated customer call and contact objectives on a daily and weekly basis

Meet or exceed stated sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis

Collect, analyze, and report statistical data for all outbound call and contact activities / campaigns on a weekly and monthly basis, and ad-

hoc reports upon request by GP Strategies

Provide weekly call and contact reports to GP Strategies management

Proactively reach out to GP Strategies and our client for any required additional support and provide suggestions to GP Strategies management for continuous improvement

Qualifications :

College Diploma or Equivalent Experience

Prior experience selling training services and / or general services is a plus.

Established and demonstrated work history of outbound selling in prior position(s)

Ability to effectively speak and to and manage conversations with our client’s commercial teams; shows capacity to attain and exhibit knowledge of our client’s business areas

Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Software (CRM) (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics)

Ability to work from an assigned GP Strategies office location, or at home, as mutually agreed upon with GP Strategies management

Ability to occasionally travel to GP Strategies or client offices for meetings and for sales training purposes

Experience in MS Office and Windows required

Demonstrated ability to continue to mine and build own list of customer contacts to continue to grow the business and meet sales objectives and quotas

Ability to work independently with little supervision with all levels of the organization

Ability to meet stringent deadlines

Ability to articulate the value our client’s industrial automation training brings to the identified marketplace

Ability to effectively communicate and document written weekly progress to GP Strategies management

Highly skilled in written and verbal communications

Possesses a high level of interpersonal / teamwork skills

High level of analytical ability to provide input and establish measures
