Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Lead Technicianto join our team. This position is based at our Franksville, WI facility.

Position Overview :

The Lead Technician is responsible for routineand non-routine testing of materials and prototype, contributing to producetest data and standardized reporting for PSD products that meet establishedquality standards.

  • In this role, you will prepare / modify tests using standardand non-standard equipment with guided work protocols. The lead technician willutilize the knowledge of applicable procedures, terminology, and attention todetail to process test requests;
  • along with compiling and evaluating data todetermine the level of quality and the maintenance of product reliability.Additionally, this position supports New Product Development and Engineeringwork associated with product re-

    design and enhancements.

    In this function, you will :

    Performstandard and non-standard (using Non-Standard Work protocols) testing sequencesfrom setup to completion with guidance.

    Generate,compile, and summarize all data, observations and conclusions for allevaluations and report out in standardized report format.

    Performnecessary evaluations to verify accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility ofthe data.

    ChampionEaton MESH Safety program for relevant disciplines. Assist in the developmentand enforcement of safety regulations.

    Performroutine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instrumentation and maintainsall documentation.

    Prepare / modifytest protocols using standard and non-standard lab equipment, including designand construction of test fixtures with supervision.

    Managelab equipment inventory, as well as test samples.

    Developtest programs and processes to improve the efficiency of routine testing.Develops standard work documentation of new methods.

    Troubleshootsminor instrumentation problems

    Required (Basic) Qualifications :

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two (2) years of engineering or lab experience
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Franksville, WI, will be considered.
  • Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

    Perform standard and non-standard(using Non-Standard Work protocols) testing sequences from setup to completionwith guidance.
