The primary responsibility of this position is to be accountable for the day-to-day administration of retirement accounts, using knowledge of bank practices, policies and organization as related to retirement accounts.
Account Administration : (100%)
Daily retirement plan accounting duties, including posting contributions, distributions, dividends, capital gains, loan payments, fees, census information and mutual fund trading.
Periodic ancillary accounting duties, including fee billings, reconciliation of accounts, investment return information and plan testing.
Assist in preparing materials for employer review meetings and employee educational meetings.
Assist with informational tax preparation including Form 5500s. 945s and 1099-Rs.
Assist with plan document maintenance, including adoption agreements, Summary Plan Descriptions, Retirement Plan Service Agreements and Investment Policy Statements.
Provide excellent customer service when employees and employers have questions.
Work closely with company human resource department and payroll specialists in order to develop and maintain a positive customer relationship.
Assist in annual account review process.
Oversee tax coding on accounts, have a general knowledge of tax rules and review tax reporting to customers.
Maintain proper investment direction in all accounts in accordance with either participant elections or investment policy statements for pooled or managed accounts.
Establish and promote personal and departmental reputation for exemplary customer service.
Consistently display professionalism and a positive attitude toward co-workers, customers, prospects and centers of influence within our trade area.
EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Full-time ; Monday through Friday (8 : 00 am -5 : 00 pm) Average of 40 hours / week.
