Allina Health clinics provide primary care, specialty care and urgent care services to people in 41 communities. More than 750 health care practitioners help patients identify health risks, manage chronic illness and find their path to better health.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound scans in accordance with provider or radiologist orders
  • Ensure technical quality
  • Perform quality assurance requirements and record data in quality log
  • There are no recently viewed jobs

  • Maintain room cleanliness in accordance with the Allina Health Rooming Standards for Primary Care / Specialty Office Visit policy
  • Follow safety and infection control processes and procedures
  • Perform equipment maintenance as required
  • Participate in daily start up and / or shut down procedures
  • Room patients, manage patient flow and obtain adequate patient medical information / data
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Education

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Ultrasound Technology
  • Experience

  • Minimum of one year ultrasound experience preferred
  • Ability to :
  • Utilize customer service skills in order to positively impact the experience of care for our patients, external customers and internal service partners
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and excellent customer service skills
  • Communicate and work within a team environment effectively
  • Stand for long periods of time with some bending, stooping, and stretching
  • Lifting patients to a maximum of 32 lbs. except in an emergency (i.e. patient falling)
  • May lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
  • Keyboard & navigate within an electronic medical record work environment
  • Licensure / Certifications

  • Basic Life Support certification (per American Heart Association guidelines) prior to start date
  • ARDMS Registered, OB / GYN and Abdominal certification preferred
  • For AIUM sites, OB / GYN certification required
  • Nuchal Translucency certification may be required depending on site
  • Work Schedule

    Alternating days to meet the needs of the clinic.
