Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Engineering Co-Ops (Interns) must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Engineering Co-Ops (Interns) perform design, development, analysis, and test in areas such as electrical, computer, mechanical, optical or communication systems.
Their work assists with General Dynamics Mission Systems development and production of complex engineering systems. This role will require cross functional (IE : electrical / mechanical) thinking.
Experience or knowledge in robotics, control systems, communication systems, or optical systems is desired.
