Job Summary

The Contract Administrator is to process all internal and external job paperwork as it relates to our contract business in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Directs activities concerned with contracts for purchase / sale of equipment, materials, products, or services and responsible for ensuring full execution of contracts are within company guidelines Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimates of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracyPrepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be requiredReviews bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bidsGatekeeper to insure all jobs have necessary information per company policy.
  • Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contractsAdvises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligationsCoordinate work of sales department with production and shipping department to implement fulfillment of contractsPrepare manual invoices in accordance of contract and specified delivery datesAct as liaison between company and subcontractorsUpdate the timekeeping system with job codes and marking whether it is certified payroll or prevailing wageWorking with HR to complete and file prevailing wage and certified payroll reports with contractors and appropriate agenciesVerify I-

    29 compliancePrepare accurate and timely pay applications in accordance with contract specificationsOther duties as assigned
