The Role

Due to the expansion of the plant and the expanding work load on the maintenance group additional personnel is required.

This person provides basic and advanced maintenance services to support the production goals of the company. This is a multi-

craft position with primary emphasis on electrical trouble shooting, welding, and fabrication.

In this role you will

  • To complete Maintenance Work Requests (MWR) on time and support plant expansion timely;
  • Work on equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting;
  • Follow established safe procedures and safe work practices;
  • Consistent high standards of housekeeping;
  • Monitor and control product quality.

  • Must be a self-starter with well-defined commercial electrical and mechanical skills that will help support the maintenance group and meet the expectations that are placed on them;
  • Able to read and write the English language;
  • Mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of mechanical equipment;
  • Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality;
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts in an industrial environment;
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs;
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
  • Capable of being licensed by the company to operate motorized material handling equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated booms;
  • Repairs and maintains physical structures and equipment using hand and power tools;
  • Fabricates, assembles, and installs new physical structures and equipment;
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9000 / 14000 environment a plus;
  • Flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.
