Monthly stipend : $1945.24 per month before taxes
Education Award : $6,195 that can be used for future schooling or to pay off existing qualified student loan debt (upon successful completion of the service hours and term)

Due to uncertainty around COVID-19 new AmeriCorps members selected for this position will likely need to start their service position from home with a computer provided by Forterra.
While Forterra is currently operating some essential field programs under strict safety protocols, some of the duties noted below are currently on hold and will be dependent on state restrictions and further evaluation by Forterra and partners.
Summary of Position
Forterra is recruiting three Washington Service Corps Individual Placement (IP) AmeriCorps members to join our team. The AmeriCorps Stewardship Associate positions support three Forterra Restoration and Stewardship programs.
These Green Cities partner with Forterra, local restoration crews, organizations and volunteers to restore 13000 acres for urban forested parks and natural areas.
This innovative program provides technical assistance and on the ground restoration support to restore private and public properties along priority rivers systems.
Forterra stewards the lands we own and monitors our conservation easements annually.
