Acara Solutions is helping out our national aerospace client find a Controls Engineer to join their firm in Irvine, CA. This is a salaried direct position.
Active current Secret clearance required. Minimal estimating experience is ok (they can train) as long as you have significant controls experience in an automation manufacturing environment.
The Controls Engineer Estimator will play a key role in the development and securing of new business to the company. This role will be required to lead the development of the controls solution and cost estimate within complex, technical proposals crossing all sites within the organization.
in order to provide customers with the best solution. -Develop a standard controls pricing template and technical documentation to be utilized in proposal development -Identify and coordinate with supplier partners at an early stage in order to leverage resources and competencies throughout the proposal phase.
Specifically NFPA, NEC, UL 508, IEC and CE as they relate to control panel design and build. Min 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Current Active Secret Clearance due to DoD program (U.
S.
