The Challenge

Adobe’s Global Employee Resource Center (ERC) provides a one-stop-shop for employees and managers to get support & information, and resolution on employee needs.

The ERC provides services that increase employee engagement and enable managers to achieve business objectives. Core services include management coaching, performance monitoring, employee relations and investigations as well as HR operations and overall enterprise wide program execution, policy development and organization health metrics and trends.

We are seeking a Director, of the America’s Region to lead and strategically enhance and rapidly scale the ERC in the America’s to support Adobe’s continued growth.

What you’ll do

  • As the America’s regional leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals while working closely with HR legal, IT, Benefits, Payroll and all levels of business leaders across the enterprise to execute critical HR services and programs that enable the achievement of strategic business initiatives.
  • Responsible for overseeing the execution of employee relation and investigation strategies in accordance with local and regional legislation, implementing policies and procedures and leading a team responsible for providing counsel and assistance to employees, all levels of management, and business group HR on complex, broad employment matters
  • Responsible for delivering an exceptional employee experiences through delivering simplified experiences through technology and self-service initiatives.
  • Responsible for the evolution of the team knowledge base to equip the team and enable faster response time to our employees.
  • Drive operational excellence / rigor through the development of robust insights, service level expectations and end to end case management oversight.
  • Monitor metrics (e.g. reports, dashboards, service levels) and implement continuous improvement solutions, identifying work drivers and partnering with appropriate stakeholders to address and resolve root cause.
  • Partner with HR Legal to drive operational excellence in managing employee relations through continuously evolving and elevating team capabilities in conducting complex investigations and managing performance.
  • Partner with COEs to drive coordinated, consistent & successful implementation and execution of programs, systems and procedures.
  • Partner with talent development & BPs to identify key opportunities to build manager awareness, capabilities and accountability in executing people management practices.
  • Partners closely with HRBPs to ensure one HR voice and alignment with regional / global activities and priorities
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business as well as HRBP s, Legal, COE s and external advisors
  • Partner with HRBP and M&A teams to support new acquisition on-boarding, integration and collaboration activities
  • Foster a client-focused environment and mindset to ensure delivery of an exceptional employee experience.
  • What you need to succeed

  • 8+ years’ experience acting as a dynamic HR Operations and Employee Relations leader in a dynamic, fast paced shared service organization.
  • HR Operations / Employee Relations experience required.

  • Demonstrated success scaling a shared services organization in support of a rapid-growth company.
  • Specialized knowledge in HR Technologies (Workday / ServiceNow), policies, employee relations and industry trends.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated history of quickly gaining credibility and
  • partnering with business leaders and key partners across the organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; demonstrates effective listening, probing and investigatory skills with the ability to synthesize data collected and identify the root problem causes and drive resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global organization and to build strong trust-based relationships with remote client groups and colleagues
  • Proven ability to make judgement calls and sound decisions displaying a heightened level of accountability, confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and high work standards in support of accurate, flawless delivery
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience
