Your Key JobFunctions
Distribution SpecificFunctions :
Resolveday-to-day distribution service issues and problems. This will require the ability to work afternormal business hours (weekends / holidays).
Maintainreport of all issues and resolutions. Review standardized reports to identify systemic issues and trends.Follow best demonstrated practices (BDP’s) to eliminate future occurrences.
Collect,consolidate and create monthly distribution performance scorecards (ServiceReports).
Publishquarterly Service Report to Sr. Leadership and Distribution companies.
Receivemonthly distribution order guides and save to S drive for Supply Chain team useand send to item costing.
Maintaindistribution register and contact list for all key stakeholders.
Maintaindatabase of Distributor Policy & Procedures Manuals that identify keypersonnel, ordering, delivery and receiving procedures, order / deliveryadjustments, delivery schedules, and credit / return procedures.
Coordinatethe new restaurant opening process to include distributor set up for deliveriesand other requirements to ensure new brand openings are supported.
Assistwith distribution transitions for all franchisees and company operations.
Conductdistribution satisfaction surveys and publish applicable reports as requestedby Sr. Manager of Distribution. Use data to identify systemic service concerns.
Price VerificationsFunctions :
Ensure the Brinker contracted pricing publishedin the Brinker Monthly price list is accurately reflected in the distributor’scharges to corporate and franchise restaurants.
Review reports generated by Brinker’s 3rdparty e-commerce partner on a monthly basis, communicating discrepancies to distributionpartners and negotiating all recoveries.
Work with key stakeholders on pricing issuesand resolve discrepancies with the distributors.
Create andpublish quarterly reports to track Distributor price variance recoveries to beused in solving systemic pricing issues with distribution partners.
Monitorinternal communications and tracks for use in verifying monthly pricingdiscrepancies.
Identify current gaps and futureopportunities tracking recoveries, utilizing the price verification program.
Develop new reports and provide datamaintenance and system enhancements as needed.
WhatYou Bring to the Team
HighSchool diploma or equivalent + 4 years education beyond high school (BA / BS), orequivalent business school training, or the equivalent in skill and training.
5+year’s food service and / or distribution experience (restaurant or hospitalityindustry) or equivalent experience in another field or industry.
Technical knowledge - proficiencyin technical knowledge of product procurement and distribution including agreements,distributor requirements, warehousing, freight, etc.
and proficiencyinterfacing between vendor / customer and supply chain. Ability to quickly gain solid knowledge of all Brinker products, pack sizes,procurement terminology and the distribution & logistics models to includevendors, freight brackets, F.
O.B. vs. Delivered pricing.
Communication Skills - excellentverbal and written ability to deal independently with internal customers andexternal resources.
Problem Solving - ability to work throughproblems and derive effective solutions independently.
Computer Skills proficient in MicrosoftOffice based software, especially Excel and AS400. Ability to quickly learn newsoftware and 3rd-party supplier platforms is a plus.
Negotiation / Analytical - ability toanalyze and interpret data and negotiate distributor overpayment recoveriesindependently.
Judgment / Decision Making - ability tomake appropriate business judgments and decisions independently. Ability toprioritize work, as well as pay attention to detail with accuracy and performmultiple tasks with various deadlines simultaneously.
Budget / Cost Control - generalunderstanding of supply chain budgeting and cost control functions, withability to perform fundamental budgeting / cost control processes.
Other - ability to elicit internal and externalsupport; good interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and shorttime lines, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
