Role Summary :

The Bently Nevada Strategic Sales Leader will be accountable for the strategy and development of a regional team composed of Field Application Engineers and coordinate with the Sales Leadership team to support Bently Nevada sales strategies.

You will lead, develop, and coach a team of 15 FAE's and Service Sales managers that will be aligned with the Sales teams, Inside Sales, Comm Ops and CCRs to support Bently Nevada sales.

Essential Responsibilities :

In the role of Bently Nevada Strategic Sales Leader, you will :

  • Lead and be responsible for the performance, progress, and growth of 15 FAE's and Service Sales Managers
  • Guide team members through developing, planning and executing sales support and service sales strategies
  • Develop and execute strategies for external events including Bently Days and Regional Trade Shows including technical paper presentations
  • Manage and facilitate campaign strategies to be executed by the sales team
  • Coordinate and support technical training for FAEs
  • Support technical training for sales team
  • Provide feedback to the product line team on customer wants and needs, new product / service needs, product modifications and help them develop sound business cases
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to develop growth strategies across product offerings with complex customers
  • Build / facilitate / lead customer relationships at all levels of the organization from operator to C-suite level
  • Actively engage in the selling of our main digital offerings such as Meridium, SmartSignal, and APM
  • Build strong partnerships and lead communications with other BHGE and GE commercial teams to leverage customer relationships
  • Interpret and understand contractual commitments
  • Lead / Participate in cross functional teams and projects to achieve account and region goals
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in a STEM related field in an industrial market space including minimum 8 years of services and / or engineering experience in an industrial market space (Power Generation, O&G, Petrochem) and minimum 3 years of experience leading sales, services and / or engineering in an industrial market space)
  • Minimum 8 years of services and / or engineering experience in an industrial market space (Power Generation, O&G, Petrochem)
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading sales, services and / or engineering in an industrial market space
  • Eligibility Requirements :

  • Travel up to 50% of time, as required
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
  • To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a BHGE owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Strong Leadership Skills with experience in personnel development, conflict resolution, performance management, and talent recruitment
  • Minimum 10 years years of services or engineering work experience in an industrial market space (Power Generation, O&G, Petrochem)
  • Knowledge of Bently Nevada products, services, and other machinery protection and management systems
  • Knowledge of industry products, services, and markets
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal relationship skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrial applications for product lines and markets
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Proactive work style, creativity, and engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and drive results
  • Understanding of modern maintenance methodologies (PM, PdM, RCM, etc) for plant electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Green Belt Certified (for GE internal)
