Milton Hershey School is currently seeking an Indoor Guard Assistant (1st Assistant). The Indoor Guard Assistant must demonstrate strong flag and rifle skills.
The instructor will assist with recruitment and organization of the Indoor Guard Ensemble. The accepted candidate will be considered for an additional fall assistant marching band position.
Duties to include weekly rehearsals and scheduled performances. This is a seasonal position that runs from December, 2018 to May, 2019.
High School Diploma or equivalent with Indoor Guard experience required. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
Strong Guard experience as a performer and instructor preferred.
Two or more years teaching experience preferred.
A commitment of approximately 200 hours is required beginning December, 2018 through May, 2019.
Must exhibit a commitment to high student achievement and support for all students in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Demonstrated a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are considered to be role models for MHS students.
Candidates should be willing to actively engage with MHS students.
